Muskoka Woods Grade 7/8 Sports Camp Trip

Preliminary work has been done in planning a Grade Seven/Eight year-end sports camp trip. This trip will take place from Wednesday May 31 to Friday June 2, 2017. The location of this trip will be at the Muskoka Woods Sports Camp.

 
Muskoka Woods Sports camp is located in Rosseau Ontario. Muskoka Woods is a camp designed for the safe outdoor educational opportunities for today’s youth. Activities this year will be completely different from the program last year and will include archery, the zip line, both high and low ropes, flag football and a possible canoeing option.

 
The cost per pupil will be approximately $360.00. This includes deluxe school bus transportation to and from the camp, all meals and snacks ( including this year an evening pizza party along with s’mores), accommodations (in cabins with washrooms and showers), two nights of paid security from 12:01 am to 6:00 am and all activities. Personal spending money (i.e. lunch on the way to the camp-Webers Burgers) and souvenirs are not included in the cost.

 
I will be accepting $50.00 refundable deposits to secure a student’s place on this awesome trip after the parent meeting as outlined below. Please make payment using school cash online. Please indicate the student’s name and class when making the initial deposit. If you are unable to pay using school cash online, please contact our school secretary, Mrs. Noonan at 905-304-3255 for assistance. I would like to have all initial deposits in place by Friday March 10, 2017. Remaining payments of $155.00 will be due by Friday March 31/2017 and Monday May 1, 2017.

I will be providing further information at the parents night meeting scheduled for Thursday February 23, 2017 beginning at 6:30 pm in the Ancaster Meadow School library.
