Grade 9 Orientation Day
Wednesday, August 29 – begins at 10:00 – in the Auditorium. All new students to Ancaster High School are invited to attend our Orientation Day . Students will meet in the auditorium (West Wing entrance) for 10:00am for a short information presentation on what Ancaster High has for them, then go on a tour of our school. We hope you have a great time and learn where all your classes will be for that first day! The Orientation Event is expected to finish at approximately 11:30. WELCOME to ANCASTER HIGH!
Parents and Guardians are invited to attend the orientation day and will be offered a tour separate from the students. If you are unable to attend the Orientation Day, and you are going into grade 9, please report to the auditorium by 8:25am on the first day of school for our grade 9 assembly.
Grade 9 Night
Friday, September 14, 2018. Begins right after school (do NOT go home) and ends at 11:00pm.
The cost is $40.00. Registration forms are still available in Student Services.

November – date to be announced. – This is a night where families and students in Grades 7-12 can learn more about the wide range of high school programs and services available in HWDSB. Information about IB and SHSM Programs will be highlighted.
Grade 9 Option Night
Ancaster High – Grade 9 Option Sheet Night 2019 – start time is 6:00pm in the Library/Learing Commons (East Wing Main Entrance)
Parents and students are invited to attend this information night to learn more about the grade 9 courses offered at Ancaster High School, the levels of courses offered, and future pathways. Please meet in the Library/Learning Commons – East Wing – for a brief presentation by 6:00pm. We will then break into smaller groups to allow for questions with Guidance Counsellors.
Grade 9 Option Sheet (distribution at elementary schools)
Ancaster High School guidance counsellors will be visiting our Associate Schools in January to speak with grade 8 students about their course options at Ancaster High. Students will receive their Option Sheet and Registration Form from their grade 8 teacher. Parents are asked to have these forms completed and returned to their grade 8 teacher before the end of February. Student Activity Fees and Yearbook Prepayments can be made through SchoolCashOnline this year!
