Thank you to Parent Community

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I sincerely want to thank the AMC parent community for all their contributions this year to enrich the learning experience for all students.

Our Family Picnic last week was a huge success due to the collaborative work of School Council members, parents and volunteers. A special thanks is extended to DJ Kevin who provided entertainment for the evening free of charge. (same DJ from Pub Night) For more information, please visit https://www.krockmusic.com. Also special thanks to Rebekah and David Roy from D.R. Roy Contracting and Woodworking who donated and and ran popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy machines for the evening (https://www.drroyswoodworking.com/home.html).

Thanks to our amazing School Council who paid for all the supplies for the treats, and to Mrs. Upshall for providing us with the bowling lane donated by Splittsville.

This community celebration would not have been possible without the collaborative effort of Lauren McLean, Yvette Cowe, Sarah Coles, Melissa Crawford, Meghan Lloyd, Andrew and Jen Moyer, Brad MacKenzie, Shannon Weston, Laura Wright, and numerous other parents who pitched in to make the event a huge success! Also, a special thanks is extended  to several AMC alumni (Bronwyn Faulkner, Ruby Long-Huckle, Gwyneth Jarrett, among others) for helping to supervise the bowling lane.

Also, a special thank you  to the Grade 4 parents and School Council for providing the generous refreshments at our Grade Five Graduation ceremony yesterday. It was much appreciated!

In particular, on behalf of the staff and students, I would like to extend a special thank you to Jodie Whitley, School Council Chair,  for her dedication and commitment over the years to making A.M. Cunningham School a special place to learn, work, and play.
