As part of HWDSB's commitment to be accountable to its community stakeholders, the Board informs its stakeholders of its budget for the upcoming school year to show how it uses its resources wisely, efficiently, effectively and equitably.
Set within the HWDSB Strategic Directions, the core elements of Achievement Matters, Engagement Matters, and Equity Matters have become the cornerstone of the Board’s direction. Based on this cornerstone, HWDSB plans to reach the goal of having each student reading, achieving, engaging and graduating in a 21st century learning environment. We plan to achieve this through the Board knowing our students, staff, parents and communities, so we can continue to show and explain how our work must integrate achievement, engagement and equity across our HWDSB community.
HWDSB sets out the priorities to reach our goal within our budget each year. We would like your comments and views on these priorities. As such, HWDSB has developed a survey to gather feedback on our Board wide priorities.
